Foreigners/ Thai owner fined for not reporting change of address within 24 hours

Naew Na reported that a Thai property owner and two Chinese nationals were all fined for contravening regulations that state foreigners’ whereabouts must be reported within 24 hours when they have changed addresses.

Naew Na used a vague term to refer to “property” so it was impossible to say if this was a case of a private dwelling or hotel being used.
The Thai was named as Aphisit Minghiran while the Chinese were not named.
The fines were paid at the Chanthaburi Immigration Operation Center under the command of Pol Col Chalermchon Laemthong.
Naew Na said that articles 37 and 38 of the immigration code had been violated.
