Fourth quake in a week hits Phuket

Phuket has today (May 8) been hit by its fourth earthquake in a week, albeit a smaller one than the previous three.
The a 2.7 Richter quake was recorded as occurring at 12.14pm local time.
The quake was centred in the same spot as the previous three on the Klong Marui fault line which runs close to the east coast of the island.
The Thailand Seismology Bureau have previously told The Phuket News that following the first 4.6 Richter quake at 4:15am on Wednesday (May 6) that it is possible more aftershocks are likely but not major.
