From Russia without love – Heroin suspect nabbed in Bang Rak

New chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang announced his first major bust since taking over at the helm of the Thai Immigration Bureau.

Elena Golubeva, 36, was arrested on a Russian warrant for distributing heroin.
She was taken into custody in Sap Road, Siphraya, Bang Rak – Bangkok’s district of love – on April 25th.
She had been wanted since 2015 and was named in an Interpol red notice. The arrest followed information received from the Russian Embassy in Bangkok.
INN said it was part of a pre-coronation crime sweep in Thailand.
