The case of the baby that was delivered minus its head will be discussed between the health officials and relatives on Monday.
Compensation is likely to be at the top of the agenda.
The baby was delivered to a 17 year old mother two months premature on Wednesday. The duty delivery doctor pulled it out but its head broke off.
This happened at an unnamed country hospital. The mother and relatives were allegedly then told to see help at Pattalung Hospital in the town. Doctors there found only a head.
The mother was allegedly unaware that he baby was already dead.
The baby has now been sewn back together.
Relatives have refused to take the body for cremation until the matter is sorted out to everyone’s satisfaction.
The doctor who allegedly bungled the delivery then tried to hide his tracks is on leave.
Pictures of the baby now in one piece have appeared on Facebook.
