Hua Hin police to get serious on no helmets – but they’ll wait until May 1st!

Hua Hin police have said they intend to get tough on motorcyclists not wearing helmets in the holiday town.
From March 2nd – next Friday – chief Sitthichai Srisophacharoenrat said that helmet-less motorcyclists would get a warning.
But from May 1st they would be stopped and fined – for sure!
The chief was speaking as community leaders, the cops, military, local businesses and the general public took part in activities in the town to kick off the “Safe Riding – 100% Helmet Use” campaign yesterday.
