Immigration arrested a young Nigerian for possession of ice

A young Nigerian man has been arrested by immigration and the police for trying to smuggle the drug ice on a Koh Samui ferry in a milk carton.
On the 11th of August Pol. Col. Somdech Prakabpol, the police inspector of Koh Samui immigration received information from an informant that a male foreigner was travelling with drugs, concealed in a milk carton, from Bangkok to Koh Samui via a ferry. An undercover police man mingled with tourists at the ferry point and discovered the Nigerian man wearing jeans and a white T-shirt holding a bag containing a milk carton. The man, Antony Chinnabellar, aged 27 from Nigeria was apprehended and a search of the milk carton reviled it contained 50gs of ice with a value of approximately 150,000 baht. The police confiscated the drugs and Chinnabellar confessed to the crime and told police he was hired by a Thai man and paid 10,000 baht to transport the drugs to Koh Samui, something he had successfully done twice before getting caught. The man was then charged for possession of drugs intended for sale.
