Interior minister urges motorists to obey traffic rules during New Year holiday

Interior Minister Anupong Paojinda has urged motorists to follow traffic rules, be considerate to others on the road and refrain from driving under the influence.
The interior minister expressed concerns for motorists during the New Year holiday and suggested they exercise caution and obey traffic rules as well as refrain from driving drunk, observe the speed limits and be considerate to fellow motorists.
He said that the authorities have put in place measures to handle the holiday rush, facilitate road travelers and reduce the number of road accidents, many of which might possibly be caused by drunk driving.
