The incident, that occurred on February 21st, came about when fight PR 731 due to take off from Bangkok at 1.50pm, was taxing on the runway was forced to return to the airport due to an unspecified technical issue. The Airbus then stayed on the tarmac for over five hours leaving passengers gasping for air as it overheated. After many complains the pilot announced over the PA system that his cockpit was hotter than the planes rear section in an apparent attempt to dismiss the complaints went on to say that he had previously been stranded for ten hours in Mubai India.
