Iranian intercepted in Thailand using false passport was on his way to London

Thai immigration police said yesterday they had intercepted an Iranian national travelling on a stolen Danish passport.
Hassan Gholami, 27, was apprehended after flying from Tehran to Phuket and then to Bangkok where he was due to transfer to BA 10 to London where he hoped to work.
He was using a Danish passport in the name of Mr Kris Stecher.
Gholami admitted buying the passport in an East Asian country for $5,000 US (160,000 baht).
