The students at the International School of Samui have been fundraising all year to raise money for the special needs school.

Just before Christmas the students invited local musicians to join the “Band Together” project. A charity single version of the Ben E King classic “Stand By Me” was recorded and was sold during the school’s Xmas walking street market. A total of 22,883 THB was raised to go toward the building of a new school.

The students are now planning on cycling to Phuket in a 9 Day mountain biking trip. The students will cycle the 350km off-road to Phuket, ISS are currently looking for sponsorship, either from companies on the island or from individuals. They are offering the chance to have your company logo on the official shirt, and appear in the official video, for any company that donates, 5,000 Baht or more. Any personal donations will also be gratefully received as this is a great local charity and it deserves all our support.

For more information on sponsorship please contact the Head of the Sixth form at the school Mr. Oliver Edmonds at headsixthform@iss.ac.th
