Japanese broadcaster gets fired after texting a photo of his penis to the Thai government

On Saturday Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi apologized after its Bangkok bureau chief posted an image of his genitals in a mobile forum set up by the Thai Foreign Ministry for foreign journalists.
The channel spokesperson said the journalist, who identified himself as Jin Morimoto had been removed from his job due to his highly inappropriate behavior. He said “We deeply apologize to the foreign ministry and other people concerned” he went on to say that the journalist who posted the graphic photograph that appeared last Monday night on the Line mobile messaging app account had been told to “seriously reflect” on the incident.
The Japanese media reported that the man who posted the picture was in his 40’s and had meant to send the image to his girlfriend but instead had accidentally uploaded it to Line where 150 journalists were using the forum.
