The Hajime Restaurant in Bangkok is the first restaurant in Thailand where genius robots serve food without waiter or waitress manpower. The Hajime robot is produced in Japan and developed by Thai engineers. The robots have lots of abilities such as gesture expressions, dancing and serving food. According to the restaurant this robots are not only cute and impressive to Thailand robot restaurantcustomers but works hard at their job too, while two out of the four robots are working hard preparing food in the kitchen the other two automatically serve food to your table via the touch screen order system and then automatically clear away empty dishes from the table.

The robots glide along a track in the middle of the restaurant to bring the food to the table, however the drinks have to be delivered by humans. In case of any malfunction there is protective glass between the robot staff and the customers.

The robots have been around for a few years, however a video of them in action has only recently been uploaded onto YouTube.
