The Civil Service’s flagship graduate recruitment programme is now open for applications.
The Civil Service Fast Stream is once again open for applications. Far from your average graduate scheme, the Fast Stream programme offers talented and ambitious graduates an accelerated route to leadership within the Civil Service. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to take on some of the biggest social, economic, political and security challenges facing the UK today and the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives.
There are different Fast Stream schemes to suit all tastes and talents, from commercial to digital. The Analytical streams close on 30 September and the Corporate streams on 1 November 2015 so be sure to complete your application as soon as possible.
The video below provides more information about the Civil Service and how you can apply for the Fast Stream to make a difference.
Sir Jeremy Heywood, Cabinet Secretary and Head of the Civil Service said:
the Fast Stream is widely recognised as one of the best graduate schemes in the country, ranked sixth in the Times Top 100 Graduate Employers in 2014-2015.
See Sir Jeremy’s blog post on what Fast Stream graduates could achieve.
The Fast Stream aims to have the UK’s best and brightest graduates in Civil Service leadership roles within 3 to 5 years and offers a wide range of supported learning and development, professional qualifications, formal training courses, mentoring and job-shadowing. The HR Fast Stream, for instance, is the only HR graduate scheme in the country to offer a Masters degree to all successful applicants.
This intake will be the first time applicants can apply for the new Project Delivery Fast Stream. The projects that government delivers – from new hospitals to cutting-edge digital services – are transforming the way we live and work, and Project Delivery Fast Streamers will have an opportunity to develop valuable project-management skills and deliver real change.Facebook.
