Jordanian father tips his two year old tied to a pram into the sea in Pattaya

A Jordanian man has been arrested at Suvarnabhumi airport after he murdered his son and attempted to flee Thailand. Earlier he tied the feet of his own son to a pram and tipped him into the sea at Bali Hai port in the middle of the night.
Rak Siam News reported that on Monday evening people at Bali Hai had called the cops after the decomposing body of the boy – aged about two – had appeared in the sea.

The boy was clothed and was attached to the pram. The body was sent to Bang Lamung Hospital. The child was thought to have been dead three days. Investigations soon led tourist police and immigration cops to Bangkok’s main airport where the Jordanian father was acting suspiciously. He was trying to leave to go back to his home country. He admitted to what he had done – he said he tied both feet of his son to the pram and tipped him into the water at night. He said that his wife had told him that if they had a child she would take responsibility for looking after the baby. They had a child and that proved not to be the case. They came to Thailand on holiday and all the wife wanted to do was go out on the town all night and leave him alone with their child. He got stressed and decided to kill him and flee. Rak Siam gave no indication of the nationality of the mother. A video showed the father being taken away by Lt Col Piyapong Ensarn of the Pattaya tourist police. More as we hear of this disturbing case.
