Khon Kaen: Warning about fake 50 baht banknotes

An owner of a gas station warned people to look out for fake 50 baht banknotes.

His daughter Benjaporn Un-ok said that on Monday two youths aged about 15 had come into the station to get 50 baht’s worth of fuel.
When her father felt the 50 baht note offered as payment it was strange and a quick water test made the colors run.
A picture was taken for social media and the boys gave him a real one.
They said they had got the fake in change at a convenience store.
The owner warned people to look carefully at their change and cash payments.
