A 41 year old Korean mad has died after jumping from the carpark of a Bangkok condo while in police custody. Police reports say that the man had been stopped by officers at the Major Ratchayothin Complex and asked to produce his passport. He told officers that he kept his passport at his condo located in the Chatuchak area of the city. He was then escorted to his condo building by police. As the man and the police officers were walking through the car park on the 4th floor the man asked permission to use the bathroom. He is then said to have walked up to the barrier of the carpark and jumped off, falling to his death. When police later searched the man’s room with Korean embassy officials they found his driving licence along with his passport that had expired. Police say they are investigating the incident along with Korean embassy officials.
