Krabi airport terminal to be renovated next year

Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith has pushed for a project to renovate Krabi airport’s terminal to better facilitate visitors.
He said that the Ministry of Transport had assigned the Department of Airports to renovate the Krabi airport terminal which had been congested, accommodating both domestic and international passengers.
The airport’s terminal space needs to be readjusted and the facilities have to be increase the capacities to accommodate tourists and the steadily increased number of flights, both domestic and international, he said.
He added that the implementation of the airport terminal project will get started in 2017.
