A Krabi border police sergeant was arrested yesterday (June 18) in connection with the fatal shooting of the president of the Krabi Palm Oil Club and village headman, Prasit Jarongnoo, 51 on Monday night (June 16).
At 11:25pm on Monday, Ao Leuk police arrested Senior Sergeant Maj Banluer Petkor, troop commander of the Krabi border police, whilst he was receiving treatment at a local hospital for a gunshot wound he received in a shoot-out with Mr Prasit.
Police seized from Maj Banleur a number of weapons, a police uniform and bullet proof vest.
