Latin Party Weekend 27 FEB – 02 MAR 2014

A brand new concept and very exciting weekend is about to happen on Koh Samui.

For the first time Salsa Samui is bringing you a Latin Weekend Party with a Dynamic Team of Instructors, Dancers and DJ.
We have special dancers from Pattaya joining us as well so let’s give them a warm Samui welcome!

We have an awesome program in place for you including Parties with our One & Only World DJ Henry Knowles from New York (Yes he’s back) and our Master Dance Instructor JR Gotengco from The Philippines. Following on the major success of our last Party with DJ Henry, we bring to you now a full weekend of entertainment and Fun Parties with a smooth and relaxed vibe where you actually have FUN socializing, dancing and grooving to Sensual Latin Beats mixed with House, Soul and Pop.

We will also feature dance performances, and Zumba Steps guided by professional teachers which you can follow along to the most popular dance rhythms.

If you’re not yet a dancer, you may very well decide to become one as you become engulfed by the Latin Passion. In any case it will be a weekend to remember!

The weekend program is as follows:

1. Thursday 27 Feb : HOT LATIN SOUL NIGHT (Latin Meets Soul) Featuring DJ Henry Knowles, Salsa Performance by JR Gotengco, First Time Zumba Performance, and Bachata Workshop.

2. Friday 28 Feb : Masterclass Salsa New York Style by : JR Gotengco, assisted by Leeta.

Improve your footwork, timing and styling in Salsa.

Time: 18.00 – 20.00

Location: Artzone Kazan Baran in Bophut

Masterclass Afterparty at Roman Restaurant in Maenam from 21.00 with DJ Henry.

3. Saturday 01 Mar : Masterclass Bachata Moderna + Dominican Style by : JR Gotengco, assisted by Leeta.

Learn timing, and advanced bachata moves / partnerwork.

Time: 15.00 – 17.00
Location: Artzone Kazan Baran in Bophut

Workshop Fees are : 980 THB per Class of 2 hours, or Pre-Sale before 25 February: 1780 THB single / 2980 THB couple for both Masterclasses (4 hours)

4. Saturday 01 Mar : NEW! LATIN SUNSET CHILLOUT (Latin Vibe meets House) with DJ Henry Knowles, Featuring Zumba Steps, Merengue Workshop.

5. Sunday 02 Mar : Private TANGO Workshop at Secret Location in Ban Taling Ngam by: JR Gotengco with BBQ Afterparty.
Workshop Time: 15.00 – 16.30
Workshop Fee: 580 THB Singles / 980 THB Couples
BBQ Afterparty Milonga and Salsa contribution: 150 THB
