Letter to the editor – endless flooding near Big C

I’m writing to complain about the length of time the ring road at the bottom of Big C hill has been flooded with dirty, smelly water. Every day
hundreds of people who walk or ride through that section of road are forced to come into contact with dirty sewage water.

Why have the authorities not yet taken action to rectify the situation? It is utterly disgusting and I’m sure it’s avoidable. If the cause is a local business they should be shut down until they have the fault fixed, and if it is a drain blockage then it should be unblocked. Either way, the tourists and residents of Samui do not want to have to be soaked in sewage water each day!
Kind regards,
Ross, Bophut.
