Long term Samui resident Gordon Jackson’s body moved to the temple

Long term Samui Resident Gordon Jackson who tragically died in a bike accident last Monday has been moved to the temple by the traffic lights in Bophut. His body will only spend one night in the temple, the cremation has been
planned for tomorrow, Wednesday 30th of March (time to be confirmed). Anybody wishing to pay their last respects to Gordon is welcome to join his family at the temple this evening, (Tuesday 29th March).
Gordon, a much loved member of the community, was in Choeng Mon close to where he lived last Monday evening where he stopped to buy some take away food from a restaurant he used several night a week. On his way home he was hit by a white mini bus, it is believed he died instantly.
Gordon was from Billington Stockton on Tees UK and had lived in Samui for 12 years. He was well known for having the ‘Cooler Bar’ in Bangrak as well as a bar in Maenam. Sister Olly and Nephew Jon have flown to Koh Samui to pay their last respects.
