Major cocaine bust at Suvarnabhumi Airport
On Wednesday Jose Alberto Martinez Soto 45 was identified at a press conference as the man who was arrested on Tuesday at Suvarnabhumi Airport with 52 kgs of cocaine. During the press conference it was reveled that the man had travelled with the drugs from Sao Paulo in Brazil to Dubai before heading to Bangkok. Customs officials became suspicious of the man after X-raying his luggage. During his interrogation Mr. Martinez admitted that he had been paid to transport the drugs that he had planned to take to Phnom Pehn in Cambodia. The street value of the haul is approximately twenty one million baht.
