Man killed by his own bomb in Nakhon Si Thammarat

At around 1.30 pm yesterday afternoon in the Ron Pibul district of Nakhon Si Thammarat a 50 year old homeowner was killed when several pipe bombs exploded inside a bag that he was carrying.
The man has reportedly wearing sports attire and football shoes. Police have said they will further probe the stadium and/or the venue where he was intending to take the bomb. 16 unexploded bombs were also recovered from the scene
The initial investigation into the incident suggested that the man had previously sustained a single gunshot wound to his head and from that time on had acted out of character. Police will now determine whether the explosives in his possession stemmed from his injury of other motivation.
