Man shot dead during Buddhist ordination ceremony in Chaiyaphum

A 29 year old man was shot in the back of the head during a Buddhist ordination ceremony in a Chaiyaphum village on Monday.
Wirachai Saowichit from Pho Thong village was shot in full view of a hundred guests at the ordination ceremony outside the temple of Wat Phu Khao Thong in Khok Sa-art sub-district.
Police who rushed to the scene found only bloodstains as villagers had taken the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, reports Daily News.
Wirachai had been shot in the back of the head.
Witnesses said that an argument broke out between two groups of men from two different villages during the ordination ceremony.
Nong Bua Rawae police said they believe they know the identity of the shooter and are seeking a warrant for his arrest.
