Man warns the public after getting his “Croc” sucked into travelator at Don Mueang airport

Sanook reported that a Thai man had his footwear sucked into the bowels of a moving walkway after arriving at Don Mueang airport.

He said it was lucky he was wearing a certain kind of shoes – he was able to slip one off easily and avoid serious injury.
He was wearing Crocs.
“Jump Dhanapat” had arrived back in Thailand with his family from a trip to Osaka just before 4 am on July 30th.
Everything seemed normal until his shoe got sucked in though he was able to release his foot.
An engineer found it in the workings of the machine – it was all ripped up.
He said that the airport contacted him with an apology a week later but since then it has all gone quiet.
He warned people about escalators not wearing Crocs.
