Manager of the resort where kidnapped Russian girl was found has been arrested

Last night the manager of Blue Garden Resort and Spa in Phuket was arrested. The hotel recently hit the headlines when Iana Strizheus, the Russian woman who was kidnapped was found there battered in bruised.
Plain clothes police officers arrested Eric Raymond Seigneurin, 55, a French national at around 9pm after he was seen serving tourists at the resort. He was able to present his passport and company registration document to the police but was unable to provide a work permit. The man was also charged with not filing a list of guests currently staying at the resort with immigration.
In the mean time the sister of missing Russian Alexey Slabinsky, who was also kidnapped in the March 7th incident, has offered half a million baht reward for any information that will lead to the arrest of the two men believed to be involved in his disappearance and an additional 100,000 for whoever finds her brother.
Ms Strizheus was discovered four days after the couple went missing after phoning relatives in Russia to say they had run into trouble. The telephone of Alexey Slabinskiy was used in Chalong on the day his girlfriend was found but local police officers were unable to trace the whereabouts of the man. The investigation continues.
