A manhunt is underway after a bank robbery at the Krungthai Bank in Pratum Thani. The robbery took place on Thursday at the Wat Dhammakaya branch of the Krungthai Bank that is opposite the police station. Staff from the branch told police that the robber entered the bank on Thursday evening just before closing. The robber, who was wearing a motorbike helmet, a short sleeved shirt and gloves, entered the store and made his way over to one of the tellers before pulling out a pistol and demanding cash. After being handed over 140,000 baht he fled the scene on a blue Honda Zoomer X motorbike that had no registration plates.
Police are now examining CCTV footage as part of their investigations into identifying the robber.
