Measles outbreak in Thailand: More than 1,500 cases in the South

Thailand health officials continue to work to contain a measles outbreak in the southern provinces, in which some 1,500 cases have been reported, including 12 deaths.
The morbidity rate in Yala province is 132.61 / 100,000 population, by far the highest in the country.
The majority of patients are babies and children who have not been vaccinated.
