MFA launches “Street Food Bangkok” application for smart phones

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thai Foundation, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and Tourism Authority of Thailand have launched the “Street Food Bangkok” application for smartphones.
Permanent Secretary of Foreign Affairs Norachit Sinhaseni officiated the application-launching ceremony on Monday. According to Mr. Norachit, the smartphone application caters to younger generations, who favor a leisurely lifestyle and regularly utilize such technology.
He said that the application would promote more than 120 street food vendors around the capital, and that it would likely expand coverage to other provinces, if it receives positive feedback.
The Permanent Secretary claimed that “Street Food Bangkok” is user friendly. People can search for recommended menus, locations of vendors and types of food. The application is available now in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
