Minibus driver banned after drinking and smoking on his bus at a gas station

Facebook shaming has had a desired affect again.
After a post on social media condemning the actions of a driver and conductress on a Bangkok minibus the Department of Land Transport have thrown the book at them and the company operating the service.

The poster was fed up with what he saw on Route 34 – the staff were drinking and smoking at a gas station while on duty.
The DLT called in the crew who arrived with Kliaw World Co Ltd rep Arunchat Ratanarasamisukkun.
The company was fined 5,000 baht and the bus was ordered off the road from Feb 21 to 27 inclusive.
The driver Chuchart Diloplap was fined 5,000 baht. The company said he would never drive for them again.
The conductress Manatphan Kaewsurin was stood down for seven days.
