Missing British Backpacker found alive and well on the beach in Phi Phi

Jordan Jacobs, the British Backpacker who hit the headlines after his family reported him missing in Thailand has been found alive and well. The 21 year old from Wiltshire UK had last been seen at a restaurant in the island of Koh Phi Phi Don last Saturday. After sending his parents a message to say he was sorry he would not be able to see them again before losing touch, the alarm was raised and the Foreign Office was informed. After almost a week with no contact with his family he was finally located by officers walking in Loh Dalum Bay, a spokesman said he was walking around looking for a dive centre in order to book a course. He was taken to the police station and the embassy was contacted. Jacobs claims that he had been out of touch simply due to having no internet connection.
After missing his flight home for Christmas and telling his family a young Thai man would not let him leave the island, going completely off the radar for a week and finally hitting the headlines he posted this message to his Facebook page “I’m fine my parents are just over reacting because I said I am not coming home… and haven’t had internet for a long time stop worrying”
