The British backpacker who alarmed her parents with a panicked phone call home before going missing in Thailand has been found. Grace Taylor was out of touch with her parents for almost a week before calling home to say she was scared and people wanted to harm her sparking panic and an international search. Her terrified mother booked her a flight from Krabi but when her daughter failed to turn up at the airport she turned to Facebook and the backpacker community to help in the search for the missing 21 year old. Today Tourist police found Grace Taylor who was backpacking around the country alone at Krabi Airport. She has spoken to embassy officials and will soon be leaving Thailand. Reports suggest the young woman is sick, but not crime is involved.

In December another backpacker created panic by going missing sparking another man hunt. Jordan Jacobs phoned his family to say he was in the clutches of a Thai man and would never see his family again. He was later found by police wandering around a beach in Koh Phi Phi totally oblivious to the panic he had caused his family. He told news reporters that he had simply been chilling out and having perhaps a little too much fun, the same cannot be said for his frantic family. When asked about the man he mentioned in the call home he said he really could not remember what he said.
