Missing Swede and toddler reunited with anguished Thai wife

A Thai mother of an eight month old Swedish-Thai boy spent nine agonizing days wondering what had happened to her child after a row with her Swedish husband that resulted in him running away with the child.
Husband Jimmy Norby and baby Charlie went missing on January 20th following a quarrel between the couple in a resort in Chiang Mai where the couple had been staying. This comes at a time when concerns are being raised about the incidences of child abductions by parents of mixed marriage is on the rise in the Kingdom.
The distressed wife and her friends launched a frantic Facebook campaign to find the child using a photo of little Charlie and his father. The photo was shared online and on the 25th of January the woman got the contact she had been waiting for from her husband by text message, telling her they were in the Pai district of Mae Hong Son. Her ordeal was over when Norby showed up out of the blue at the Chiang Mai resort on January 29th, the family are now happily reunited.
