Murder by Samsung Tablet near Bangkok – Dutch national arrested

A Dutch national has been arrested while on the run in Cambodia after allegedly killing his Thai girlfriend with a Samsung Tablet at their home just outside Bangkok.
Reports suggest that the man forbade his girlfriend to use Facebook, a request Pornpan Kaewkok Klang, 35, ignored. Mathew Mannen, 40, was arrested by boarder police at a hotel room in Koh Kong Province, Cambodia and confessed to the killing.
Pornpan’s body was discovered by her father at the home she shared with Mannen in Nakoh Pathom Province, she had a large wound on her head that the police concluded was caused by a broken Samusung tablet that was found close to her body, they also concluded that the girl had been dead for approximately three days before her body was discovered. A handwritten message on the wall addressing the deceased was found in English on the wall of the home, it is believed the not was written by Manne. Neighbors told police that they had heard the couple arguing on Saturday and later saw Mannen driving off in a pickup truck. Manne is being detained at the Khlong Yai police station in Trat province
