Myanmar man stabbed to death in Surat Thani

Surat Thani police have launched a manhunt for a Myanmar migrant who allegedly stabbed his compatriot to death and injured another friend in Muang district on Monday night.
Muang Surat Thani police station was informed of the killing at a rented house in Moo 4 village in Tambon Bang Koong at 8.40pm.
Police said Won, 35, was killed on the roadside about 200 metres from the house he rented with his alleged attacker, Dam, 39, and another unidentified Myanmar man.
Police said Dam allegedly stabbed Won and the other friend, who was injured and taken to Surat Thani Hospital, following a dispute.
The three rented the house and earned their living by collecting recyclable garbage for sale.
Dam fled the scene following the incident.
