Mystery surrounds the death of a British man found dead in his hotel room

An investigation has been launched into the sudden death of a British man during his holiday in Thailand. Peter Nicholson from Manchester was found collapsed in his hotel room, although there are very few details available currently about his death it is thought there are no suspicious circumstances.
It is understood that the man, who was 29 years old, flew to Bangkok with friends on Saturday. When they could get no answer from his room they alerted hotel staff who unlocked the door before making the shocking discovery.
A spokesman from the Foreign Office said they are aware of the death and are ready to provide consular assistance.
It is thought from details on a social media site that Mr. Nicholson had previously been in Thailand only a month earlier, but had returned home to the UK to visit family.
