National police chief taking an interest after mystery corpse found minus genitalia

The national police spokesman has expressed concern after a 50-60 year old unidentified man was found floating in the Chao Phraya river under the Phra Nang Klao bridge in Nonthaburi.
The corpse – wearing just a short sleeved red and blue shirt – was missing its genitalia and liver, kidneys and intestines.
The man, dead for 8 to 10 days, was believed to be 165 cms tall. He was found on Saturday.
National police spokesman Pol Col Krissana Patanacharoen said that national chief Chakthip Chaijinda was taking a personal interest in the case demanding that the investigation is carried out properly by Ratanathibet police.
The corpse had wounds to an arm but the cause of death is yet to be determined at Thammasat Hospital.
