Nationwide sweep nets foreigners/Thais sharing indecent images of children

The Department of Special Investigation carried out a nationwide sweep in twelve provinces.
Operation Leopard was carried out to flush out people possessing and sharing indecent images of children.
Eight arrests were made in eight provinces – in custody are a British man, an Australian, an Italian, a Frenchman and four Thais.
Taken into evidence were seven computers, phones, hard drives, a tablet and two routers.
The DSI are investigating the matter as a possible contravention of human trafficking legislation.
All the men are in custody as investigations continue and the search widens, reported INN.
