New multiple entry visa available from November

According to an announcement on the Facebook page of Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs a new multiple entry tourist visa will be available from the 13th of November.
The new multiple entry visa will facilitate the forthcoming ASEAN Community and boost Thailand’s tourist industry.
The multiple entry visa (METV) will allow travelers multiple entries during a six month period for up to 60 days per visit, it is available to all foreign nationals and will cost 5,000 baht.
