Nonthaburi hosts event on stopping domestic violence

Nonthaburi province has organized its annual event to raise awareness for domestic violence.
The event was held to exchange views on how to protect and assist victims and raise awareness on the effects of the internet and inappropriate sexual solicitation.
It also explained the implications of the 2007 Domestic Violence Victim Protection Act, in order for participants to understand how their rights are protected under law and the mechanisms in place to protect victims of domestic violence.
