One dead, five in comas and one in a critical condition after bus accident in Kanchanaburi

After initial reports suggested that none of the Russian tourists were badly hurt when their bus overturned in Kanchanaburi province the Voice of Russia are now reporting that five of the forty two Russians are in comas and one other is in a critical condition. A Russian lady, who was killed after suffering from a punctured lung in the accident, has yet to be identified.
The driver of the bus, Kasian Karaket, 53 survived the crash and has been taken into custody for further investigation and will face charges of causing death and property damage by reckless driving and could face up to ten years in jail. However the cause of the accident is yet to be established. The Russian tourists were on their way to the River Kwai when the accident occurred.
The report went on to say that the condition of the four children on the bus is unknown and that the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry is ready to send an airplane to Thailand to collect the tourists that were injured in the crash according to ministry spokeswoman Irina Rossius.
