One killed and two went missing in an illegal fireworks factory explosion

An elderly man was killed and two others went missing after after an illegal fireworks factory exploded in Muang district of Suphan Buri province on Friday afternoon (Jan 19).
Eight adjoining houses in the same neighbourhood in Village Two, Tambon Piharn Daeng, were also damaged by the powerful blast.
The dead victim was identified as Prayong Parnsakul, 62.
Police said there were three people inside the illegal fireworks factory at the time when the blast took place at about 4 pm. Police suspected that the explosion was caused by chemical reactions during the production process.
