One Russian and one Korean dead in Pattaya

The deaths in Pattaya continue to mount up, this week on Tuesday a 45 year old man was found dead by police and medics in his room in the Sawasdee Hotel in Soi Buakhao, central Pattaya. The man was found lying face down on the bed in room 616 on the 6th floor, he has been named as Mr. Mikhail Petrochenko. The hotel staff told the police that the man checked in on the 30th of November and was due to check out on Tuesday, when he failed to do so staff when to his room, only to find him dead.
The police found no signs of foul play, the staff however said the man had been drinking heavily during his stay. Whether his death was caused by alcohol poisoning will be reveled by the autopsy. The Russian Embassy are aware of the death and are in contact with the man’s family.
In the mean time at the Sriracha District police were called to a hi-rise condominium where are 45 year old Korean man fell to his death from the Laemchabang Towers. The man has been identified as Mr. Yongsob Kwung. Footage from the buildings CCTV confirm that the man entered the building at 7-30pm carrying two bottles of whiskey, it is thought that he jumped out of the building via the window at 8pm from the 18th floor. The bottles of whiskey have not been recovered, and it is though the man went to the apartments to visit a friend, but does not live there. Police contact with friends of the man revealed that he recently lost his job as a company director and split up with his wife, the police believe these are possible motives for suicide.
