Orgasmic is located in one of the most romantic settings in Koh Samui. Nestling on its own virtually private beach the Orgasmic restaurant can be found on the road leading out of Bophut heading towards Bangrak before the road goes uphill.
A little track leads to some off road parking for both cars and bikes and a small Japanese style bridge leads past beautifully floodlit topical plants outside the restaurant. Once inside you are instantly taken away from all of the hustle and bustle of Koh Samui and you will find yourself in a tranquil haven.
The center piece of this heavenly spot is a beautifully preserved old teak traditional Thai house built on stilts. However Chef Wally has transformed the area under the house into a fabulous kitchen were all sorts of heavenly delights are created. The upper story of the house has been transformed into a wonderful dining area with panoramic views over the outdoor diving terrace and the ocean beyond.
The dining terrace is a sublime area to dine in and individual lights over each table give the guests a really intimate dining experience that is enhanced by the gentle sound of the waves lapping onto the shore.
To the left of the dining terrace is a modern bar and lounge area that also has fabulous views of the bay and is a superb area to enjoy pre and post dinner drinks and cocktails that are all mixed to perfection.
The bar and dining terrace have just the right amount of plants and statues to add interest without detracting from the incredible surroundings and the ancient trees that spread their branches across the whole terrace are flood lit to add a sort of surreal and natural suspended ceiling through which you can still see the twinkling of the stars. The terrace comes to natural conclusion to the left where the rocky outcrop that forms the start of the headland and gives the restaurant an extra feeling of privacy.
Tables on the terrace are limited so if you want to ensure alfresco dining it is worth booking ahead. Should the weather take an unexpected turn and you experience a small shower then there is always enough room inside to enjoy the rest of your meal in beautifully decorated, Thai teak wood stylish surroundings.
With a name like Orgasmic it is not hard to imagine the quality of the cuisine being served here and that is terms of both taste and presentation.
As soon as you are seated the attentive and extremely efficient staff provide you with refreshing and beautifully scented cold towels and, if you have not got one already take your drinks order. No sooner have your drinks arrived, complimentary appetizers materialize that will certainly wet your appetite as you ponder the hard to choose from menu.
On the cold starter menu you will encounter the agonizing choice that includes Sicilian Style Baby Calamari with marinated artichokes and pine nut & walnut dressing, Goat Cheese Fritters with a garden salad of sundried blueberries and lavender dressing, this dish is irresistibly good and the combination of woody rocket leaves with the sweetness of the blueberries and the smoothness of the cheese is nothing of not divine. Another fabulous combination of tastes, flavors, textures and colours is Chef Wally’s Cesar Salad with homemade smoked chicken, pecorino cheese, bacon strips walnuts, pine nuts, sundried cranberries, cherry tomatoes, parmesan and croutons.
If you really want to set your taste buds alight with a heady combination of flavors then the Red Tuna TarTar with Mediterranean herbs, rocket gazpacho and wasabi crack crack is a must. Other choices include Duck Carpaccio and Salmon and swordfish Carpaccio.

If you really can’t decide then elect for the Mixed Seafood on the Plancha and indulge in king prawns, squid, Samui blue crab, king crab, barracuda, white snapper and New Zealand mussels that is served with baked potato and homemade sauces.
If you are a meat lover then there is no doubt that the meat menu will have you salivating.
The breast of duck in lacquer spices, caramelized apples and honey lime reduction is beyond description. The Chicken Filet marinated with Marrakesh spices, grilled pesto vegetables and wild mushroom sauce is not far behind. If you like steak then the Australian Grain Fed Beef Tenderloin with Belgian fries or baked potatoes will leave you more than satisfied and it comes with a choice of sauce béarnaise, green pepper cream or gorgonzola cheese and wild mushrooms. However if you really want to treat yourself the only choice can be Orgasmic Steak, with French duck Foie Gras, pearls of alba truffles and porcini mushroom sauce, this dish is………well, orgasmic. If you prefer things a little more rare then try the beef tartare!
As well as a fabulous western menu Orgasmic has just as much to offer on the Thai menu, the Fish and Prawns fritters scented with red curry are really rather good and the Chiang Mai plate with fish & Prawn fritters, spring rolls, chicken sate, seafood sate and prawns in Singha beer batter makes an excellent choice for two. If you fancy some local Samui seafood try the Homok Plaa Talay, a traditional wedding dish with fish and prawns soufflé in coco-curry custard, it is rich and smooth and beautifully presented on a brass dragon. If you prefer meat then try the Penang Curry with Australian beef tenderloin scented by kaffir lime leaves.
If you still have room for dessert then try the Crème Burlee with bourbon vanilla and caramel pineapple, the Sabayon scented with Grand Marnier & Jasmine Ice cream , the warm apple upside down tart or the star of the show the Orgasmic Chocolate volcano fondant with chocolate mousse, cashew nuts, violet ice cream, cocoa craquant and a drizzle of orgasmic vincotto original.

Dining at Orgasmic is a unique and really special experience. The ingredients to all of the dishes are as fresh as it gets, combined to perfection and really imaginatively put together with exceptional results. There is plenty on the menu for vegetarians and if you have any food allergy or are gluten free just let one of the staff know. The surroundings here are without question some of the most impressive that Samui has to offer and in terms of having a really special night out Orgasmic is pretty hard to beat.
