Panic on board Thai Airways flight to London forced to make an emergency landing

Thirty minutes after a Thai Airways flight from Bangkok took off bound for London the plane was forced to make an emergency turn around when the aircraft experienced a hydraulic leak. The flight due to take around twelve hours was aborted after dumping its fuel, an event that was caught on camera by passenger Matt Babai.
Passengers onboard were told that the plane was experiencing technical problems and would be returning to Suvarnabumi Airport. One passenger complained of being given very little information and said all of the passengers were very relieved when the plane landed safely.
Flight TG916 departed from Bangkok at 1-45pm local time, it was due to arrive in London at 7pm local time. The plane circled over north west Bangkok before landing. Passengers were returned to the terminal and delayed three hours while a second flight was arranged.
