Phuket bus crash injures 17 Chinese’s tourists

A tour bus carrying Chinese tourists skidded off a wet road and crashed onto its side in Phuket yesterday, injuring at least 17 passengers.
The incident happened around noon on the bypass road in front of Premium Outlet Phuket after heavy rainfall.
Phuket police said the tourists, four of whom appeared to be seriously injured, were taken to local hospitals.
The bus, belonging to BRT Travel, was carrying two tour guides and 18 passengers.
The bus driver was not injured.
The bus was heading northbound when the accident occurred.
The crash trapped one Chinese tour guide and one tourist inside the bus, but rescue workers were able to rescue them and sent them to Vachira Phuket Hospital and Bangkok Hospital Phuket for treatment.
