PM Prayut affirms Thailand is speedily solving human trafficking problem

The Prime Minister has affirmed that Thailand is speedily trying to solve the problem of human trafficking.
Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha said during his weekly “Returning Happiness to Thai People” TV program that the current government has always recognized the importance of finding solutions to the human trafficking problem and already made it a national agenda.
PM Prayut stated that law enforcement has been stepped up and related codes have been adjusted and strengthened while the culprits behind such a crime have been punished and victims have been given assistance.
Moreover, the Social Development Ministry has joined the Revenue Department in opening channels to receive donations from various foundations so that all the money will be distributed fairly to those in need, he said.
