PM Prayut continues campaign to encourage Thais to exercise

The Prime Minister is continuing to encourage Thai people to exercise regularly, by leading government officials in a weekly workout session.
Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha on Wednesday led a group of civil servants and members of staff at Government House to a weekly physical exercise session, which was the fifth of its kind.
This week, the workout started with a warm-up before all present joined in an aerobic exercise on the lawn in front of Thai Khu Fah Building, under the guidance of officers from the Sports Authority of Thailand for 15 minutes.
After that the PM demonstrated his table-tennis skills against an official from the Culture Ministry, who defeated him in two straight games. The PM then continued getting beaten by members of the press.
Following the workouts, PM Prayut met with a representative of the Table Tennis Association of Thailand, with whom the Premier has pledged government support for this type of sport while urging the association to continue searching for talented new players among the young generation, who may go on to represent Thailand.
