The Prime Minister has warned political groups who have made use of a popular social media channel to share their opinions, that they may be at risk of breaking the law.

Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha said that he has already sent warnings to Chairman of the People’s Democratic Reform Council (PDRC) Foundation Suthep Thaugsuban and leader of the United Front for Dictatorship Against Dictatorship (UDD) Jatuporn Prompan about their use of the Facebook Live service to share their opinions related to the draft Constitution.

Gen. Prayut said that he has informed both about the risks of violating the law.

Deputy Prime Minister Wissanu Krea-ngam said that a debate between the PDRC and the UDD is being planned and will be organized by the Election Commission and supported by various television stations in an attempt to avoid any confrontation and conflicts.
