Police hunt for husband after wife stabbed to death

A husband allegedly stabbed his wife to death just four days after she left him to stay with her friend in Pathum Thani, police said.
Police are hunting for Songsit Osoth, 32, after the murder of Waraporn Ruamyu, 29, at a house in Moo 5 village in Tambon Khukot, Lam Lukka district on Tuesday evening.
The Lam Lukka police station was alerted of the death at 7pm.
Waraporn’s friend, Lek Chaloeysanoh, 41, said Waraporn came to stay with her four days before the attack, after quarrelling with her husband.
Lek said Songsit came to meet Waraporn to ask her to return home with him. When she refused, he stabbed her once in the left side of her chest.
Waraporn was bundled into a pickup by her mother and rushed to a nearby clinic, but she succumbed to her injuries as they arrived.
